Includes Luggage Tag

Mark West has made a trailer for my forthcoming chapbook, Nowhere Hall...

...I heart modern technology.

And Mark has also added Nowhere Hall to Goodreads. Excellent.

National Novel Pantsing Month

Three weeks to go and already I'm hyperventalating.

Okay, maybe only a little. But I was so cocky in August when I decided I was going to do NaNoWriMo this year and I was already working on my plan and now it's almost here and....argh!!!

So much to do between now and then, and one of them is a spectaular book trailer for Strange Men... We may remove the word spectacular once it's done. In fact, we will definitely remove the tag once it's done. I think my boys should dress up in their wedding suits and allow me to draw chalk lines down the fabric and take photographs of them in ridiculous poses. Okay, back to my box of old photographs so that I can abuse long-dead relatives instead.

My Soul Ain't Dead

I may have squealed in work today when I got a phone call to say that there was a delivery of books waiting for me. The word may is an absolute lie. How beautiful are the below specimens...

Dead Souls, edited by Mark Deniz, contains my story When the Cloak Falls, along with stories by Michael Stone, Ramsey Campbell, T A Moore, Paul Finch, Gary McMahon, Bernie Mojzes, Carole Johnstone, and Bill Ward. And Mark had my contributor copy signed for me at FantasyCon by himself, Gary McMahon, Paul Finch, Ramsey Campbell, Rebecca Lloyd and Carole Johnstone. Carol also signed my copy of Grants Pass, which alas I'm not in, but the wonderful Katey Taylor is.

And I know I've shown this before, but how can you resist buying this book after watching the trailer:

Book Trailer Tuesday

Over at Danette Haworth's blog, Courtney Summers has posted an excellent post about how to make a book trailer. Excellent advice. I so want to make one now, even though I haven't got a book. Sigh! How about a trailer for a flash story? How bizarre would that be? And it'd probably be longer than the story. Sorry, wittering on...

Now check out this fabulous trailer for the Grants Pass anthology from Morrigan Books. Featuring a story by the wonderful, KV Taylor. Go buy a copy, now.
