I've stolen this Movie Meme from KV Taylor because it looked like fun and I thought it time I put my non-coolness on display for everyone to laugh and point at. Go ahead, I can take it.
1.Name a movie that you have seen more than 10 times.
My first thought was 'The Slipper & The Rose', and it's more like twenty times (I'm cured now). Then I realised I couldn't admit that to the world (even though I just have). So I'm going to go with 'The Lost Boys' instead - Kiefer, vampires and humour, movies don't come much more perfect than that. Ooh, or maybe 'Young Guns'. I am so indecisive.
2.Name a movie that you’ve seen multiple times in the theater.
'Mannequin'. Gulp! How uncool am I? I went to see it everyday for a fortnight back in the 1980s and when I had run out of people to drag in with me, I went by myself. Saddo.
3.Name an actor that would make you more inclined to see a movie.
Ooh, I want to say Kiefer but I don't think that's true (certainly not since the dude made me buy Mirrors on DVD), I'm going to go with Will Smith - he's always good value.
4.Name an actor that would make you less likely to see a movie.
Michael Caine. I cringe even having to type his name on my blog.
5.Name a movie that you can and do quote from.
The Lost Boys - "Read a TV guide, don't need a TV." "They're only noodles, Michael." I need help.
6.Name a movie musical that you know all of the lyrics to all of the songs.
It's probably more a case of I think I know all the words but in fact I'm making half of them up. My list is endless and runs a little like this - Moulin Rouge, The Slipper & The Rose (20 times remember), Grease, Evita.
7.Name a movie that you have been known to sing along with.
Everyone that has songs in it. I need a gag. Definitely Grease.
8.Name a movie that you would recommend everyone see.
Dark City. Not to be missed.
9.Name a movie that you own.
10.Name an actor that launched his/her entertainment career in another medium but who has surprised you with his/her acting chops.
I'm probably missing someone really important, but I'm going to go with Eminem.
11.Have you ever seen a movie in a drive-in? If so, what?
Weep! No. We don't have drive-in's in Liverpool.
12.Name a movie that you keep meaning to see but just haven’t yet gotten around to it.
I don't think there is one. Maybe Coraline, but only because I'm waiting for the DVD to come out.
13.Ever walked out of a movie?
Yeah, something set in a hospital starring Paul McGann and I think it had paper in the title. We walked out and headed into the auditorium next door to watch something better.
14.Name a movie that made you cry in the theater.
I can't remember one. How awful is that? I'm always sobbing at home, but I don't think I've ever cried in a theatre.
15.What’s the last movie you saw in the theater?
Casino Royale (Daniel Craig), I think. Or maybe, Hancock - whichever was released last.
16.What’s your favorite/preferred genre of movie?
I love too many genres to choose.
17.What’s the first movie you remember seeing in the theater?
Grease. We queued and queued and queued.
18.What movie do you wish you had never seen?
Jude - that movie left me emotionally scarred.
19.What is the weirdest movie you enjoyed?
Rocky Horror Picture Show.
20.What is the scariest movie you’ve seen?
The Omen when I was a teenager.
21.What is the funniest movie you’ve seen?
A toss up between Shaun of the Dead and Mars Attacks. Both never fail to make me snort.
