No Rot Here

Sometimes a story haunts for a few years. Then when you finally allow it space, it rushes at you from every which way because it's afraid you'll forget it again.

I've missed this rush. I'm looking forward to burying myself in this story for months to come (though I wouldn't mind one of those madcap six week novel things that sells for millions - or a fiver - they exist right?)

Dear World, let this be the one...

How lovely. That has never happened to me.

Go Cate, and open a can of whup-ass on it. Just remember us mere mortals when you're living in the lap of luxury with your own mansion and a fleet of limousines. Let me know if you need a butler. :)

It will, Deborah

Cheers, Kate

I shan't remember anyone, Simon. I'll be too dazzled by all the gold.

! This pretty much sums up my entire writing process.

Idea! Explosions of thought about the idea... then: Entropy.

more entropy. Idea slowly is covered in cobwebs.

Then... idea attacks with frenzied claws and teeth, demanding to be written RIGHT NOW.

When I write novels this process is on a rinse/repeat cycle.

I may have to look into changing my habits...

Fingers crossed for you here!

I dunno. I like the explosions, Mason :)

Thanks, Simon
