In the Mailbox

Look at what came in the mail for me... A welcome to Hadley Rille mug from the fabulous Eric Reynolds and the new look BFS Journal (totally gorgeous) which includes New Horizons, Prism and Dark Horizons.

PS Publishing have produced the journal this time and...

(neat little jump here)

...PS Publishing head honcho, Peter Crowther, has just signed a three book deal with Angry Robot Books. Fantastic news.

As a side note. How wonderful Britain would be if we all had pretty little mailboxes like they have in the US. Of course, I do wonder how you keep the mail from being stolen.

I've seen too many movies where a bomb has been planted in the mailbox. I'd be a nervous wreck!

Nice parcel from HR.

We don't steal from mailboxes, we just take them out via baseball bats as teenagers. Right of passage and all that. :)

Nice gets. I'm anxiously anticipated a few books to show up in my mailbox too.

I guess it depends on were you live. Where I live now, only the snowplow has taken out my mailbox. :-) Of course, when I lived in Brooklyn, the mailboxes had locks on them.

I actually hate all of those eccentric mailboxes we have here in the states. Most of them deserve the good old fashioned game of mailbox baseball...

You're watching the wrong movies, Mike.

That's so naughty, Gef. I hope you picked them back up when you hit twenty.

They'd need locks on them here, Anthony. I want to live in Idealtown, America

I guess it's a case of what you've never had, Barry.

I've always lived in town with either a mailbox on my house or a big lock box in the apartment office.

'grats to Mr. Crowther and you (of course).

Wait, wait, wait...back up a minute. Go back to the coffee cup. Do publishers often give out coffee cups? Is that a thing over here in the UK I was not aware of?
