Call me William
Someone found my blog today by googling Shakespeare Angel... Ah shucks! But you found the wrong place. Though I am, of course, angelic most of the time (except when I'm doing bad things to innocent characters).
Cool weekend. Drew pictures with beautiful nephew and niece, and said niece joined the, 'will you please stop singing' club - all family members join in the end. :( See googler, even my singing is demonic. Then, the wonderful Chris Fletcher accepted my science fiction story 'Treading the Regolith', which is neither dark nor fantastical (I think), at least it's not my usual flavour of dark, for M-Brane SF. It will appear in the April issue.
And today, I fell back in love with my WIP. Let's hope we don't have a one-night stand.

OK, totally random, unmotivated question:
Have you considered doing a second "print" of Olive Lemon as an ebook? Or does BoG own all of the rights? Just curious how that works...
Congrats on the acceptance. Oh, and I second Jeremy's question...
Congrats, Cate! I think there should be a Cate Gardner collection out there...
Just sayin'.
Congrats on the acceptance! : )
Oh, and I third Jeremy's question.
And I fourth it. And I second what Aaron said about a collection. Come on, somebody, third it!
Ahem.
Oh, and congrats too, btw ;)
Woot! Chris puts together an awesome magazine and you must have upped the cool factor by 10.
Congrats Cate!
Jeremy, I believe Nate plans to release it (along with 4 other BOG chapbooks) in a single anthology at some point. He did suggest re-releasing it a couple of weeks ago but I was worried it wouldn't sell anymore copies.
Thanks, Barry.
Thanks, Aaron and I wish.
Thanks, Natalie.
Thanks, Josh. And eek, I meant to check out your story at work today - tomorrow, I promise.
Simon, I'd third it, but I don't think I count.
Jamie, or course... *Runs Away*
Thanks, Andrea.
I love M-brane, eat up every issue. Can't wait to see what you have for us next time!
Katey, I envy your ability to read so many shorts. I'm so far behind, I'm thinking of sending you half of my collection. :D
Congrats on your acceptance Cate!
It sounds like you had a great weekend!
Happy writing
Hinny
Singing and drawing - you and I would get along famously! I can't wait to read your new story - congrats on the acceptance.
I read one of your stories the other day - about the heart - the woman missing her heart and the twins who spoke in unison. The title has slipped my mind, but I did enjoy the story - just wanted to let you know. I liked the imagination of it and symbolism as well, quite a darkly charming piece.
The Forest of Sepia Children - that's it - I liked that one - I'll read the others soon. That's the only one I read so far.
Singing is good for the soul. Singing off key is even better.
PS I have given you an award.
We gonna see the pictures this time? :P
Congratulations on the sale, Cate. ;-)
And I love that last line. Hopefully you'll stay in love with your WIP. :-D
I did. Thanks, Hinny. :D
Thanks for reading the story, Paula. Much appreciated. Oh, and I try to forget the title of that one... It needs changing.
Ooh, thanks Danielle.
Rich, no. :/
Thanks, Tythia.
Yay, acceptance! Yay, WIP love!
And a big old YES to Olive Lemon, from someone who is a huge procrastinator and waited too long to order her copy.
Thanks, Carrie.
