Two Magic Words

A funny thing happened when posting yesterday's blog post, I was so eager to get back to googling these most fabulous snow globes that I forgot to say I typed two magic words, ie. The End.

Grim Glass Vein - first draft - 50,033 words.

I think you'll find it's the other way around. Still on my knees and not certain I can get out of the 'we are not worthy position'.

Woot! I think that's the right term... can't keep up with you trendy modern young folk :)

I get a stitch in my side everytime I try to chase them. ;) I usually grab a saying or two though as they throw things at me out of pity.

Yay! The End.

Best two words in the writer's venacular.

Good god, are we bowing to each other? What a mad religion we've invented!

Good luck with draft two; I'm cheering for you!

It's wearisome on the knees but it keeps us humble.

AWESOME! So when do we get to read it? No pressure. Really.

Congratulations! I can't wait to reach those words on my current project (aka - the short story that will not end).

Carrie, January 18th 2010. Not that I've set ridiculous deadlines for myself or anything. :D

Thanks, Jason. Good luck with the short that won't end, maybe it's a novella in training.
