... so I've started the second draft.

*lol* Okay, you got me with that last panel. My poor characters almost never get bathroom scenes either. :)

Jamie Eyberg said...

too funny. I can just see all of my characters walking through scenes saying, 'watch out for the puddles.'

HAHAHA. Oh man that was awesome. It looks like a lot of TLC went into the making of it, too. I needed that today!

KC, I can see me having to hang a lot of jeans and skirts on the washing line.

Jamie, lots of puddles.

Katey, it was a way to get out of doing actual writing today.

Very cool. Makes me want to start making comics too.

I think my characters get to go to the bathroom. At least, they sure do talk about it a lot.

I'm thinking of giving up this novel lark and writing comics instead - do you think the public is ready for 'Adventures of the Stick Man & His Wonky House'?

Aaron Polson said...

I guess I had my MC "relieve himself" in a corner of his prison cell. That's the only bathroom scene I've written to date.

Kim Kasch said...

I hate it when they complain.

Cate Gardner said...

Aaron, and I bet he/she felt much better for it. Off to describe a full bladder.

Kim, this time, they're right. :D

LOL

*wince, think, think* I believe all my characters have large, cast iron bladders . . . I hope.

Cate Gardner said...

Rebecca, I forsee a tidal wave in your future.

LOL at needing a bathroom scene.

Alan W. Davidson said...

he, he, he cute comics.

Laura Eno said...

If you don't feed them, you won't have to create bathroom scenes for them...just sayin'

Thanks for the comics!

Cate, have you gone mad?

Wait, silly question. We're all bonkers here.

Cate Gardner said...

Natalie, If I don't add one soon my MC is going to think she's Jack Bauer in a skirt.

Thanks, Alan.

Thanks, Laura. And shush, they'll start griping about hunger pains.

Jeremy, been this way for some time. :D

SNARF. I just wrote a bathroom scene, too.

Rabid Fox said...

HA. Loved it. Like "frost" I've had a character or two complain about my go-to words. That final cell was priceless.

Cate Gardner said...

Carrie, that's why you have an agent and I don't... Well that and other snarfalicious things.

Thanks, Rabid.

Her feet ache? She doesn't seem to have any... ;-)

Cate Gardner said...

That's what we call a plot hole. :D

Ian said...

Ah! That's where her feet will be found, then.
