If you have the time...

Issue 2 of Arkham Tales containing my story 'Uncle Eric's Leather Bound Tale' is now available to download. I'm printing it out as I type.

It includes short stories by K.S. Clay, Dev Jarrett, Jason Hardy, Bric Barnes, Bret Tallman, Matt Finucane, John Jasper Owens, and Diane Payne. Poetry by K.S. Conlon, and a novella by Garrett Calcaterra.

I deleted my comment after realizing it contained spoilers. But I thoroughly enjoyed the dry wit of Uncle Eric. The boy and his mom . . . adorable. The story was strange and very well written.

(Now I know what a Postman Pat van is!)

Thanks, Bobby. :)

Great story Cate – kind of makes me scratch my head in admiration of the sheer abstract surrealism of it all.

Yeah, that's one of those stories that really draws me in - very original!

Thank you both for taking the time to read it. :)

Loved it Cate - horror and comedy are are tough mix, but great when done like that! It would make a great short film.

...we've got the beer!

Wait, they probably didn't run that commercial in the UK. Sorry. And sorry to anyone from the U.S. over the age of 35 who now has that jingle stuck in their head.

I've got Arkham Tales in my TBR pile...do they always give them away, or is it a promo thing? I'm noticing more free PDFs lately, and I'm having trouble keeping up...

Thanks, Ian. And, I wish. :)

Jeremy, Arkham Tales is always free - how cool is that?

Cool story! You've got a great sense of the absurd.

I especially liked the giant toad ;)

I also love your ability with brilliant little details. It just makes the read delicious!

Thanks for taking the time to read it, Katey. As per usual, I'm still lagging behind and am yet to finish the issue.
