Tee-Off!

Okay, I had to give this post a corny title - sorry!

The wonderful Erik Smetana has accepted The Flat-Packed Golfer for issue 1 of Stymie Magazine, which is dedicated to all things golf-related. I hope my story doesn't put you off the game. :)

It will be appearing in the Fall 2008 issue, due out next month.

Congrats on the story. I can't wait to see what kind of twist you can put on golf. Now, why doesn't anyone devote magazines to interesting sports like competitive eating.

Congrats! I agree with Jamie--I'm sure you've twisted the game a bit.

Mucho congrats! But does the story have zombies in it? :)

Thanks everyone.

Carrie - I knew I'd forgotten to add one vital ingredient to the story. :)

How cool...I would have never even thought of a golf mag as a place to sell fiction.

Congratulations!

Congrats! You're definitely exploiting an unusual fiction niche!

You sold a story to a golf mag?! Fact is stranger than fiction (rarely).

Congratulations, Cate.

Next time, Catherine. Because zombie golf is just too good to pass up. :)

Congrats! Cate, you're burning it down this year, aren't you?

Oh man, I cannot wait to show this to my husband, the Avid Golfer. This should be SO fun. Congratulations!

Cheers everyone.

Okay, off to write a story about zombie golfers. ;0)

I have one heck of a story in revision on this very topic, it is of course not suitable for young audiences.

Cate's story is great by the way, just what we were hoping for -- something that takes golf and turns it on it's head a bit.

Thanks for accepting the story, Erik. :)
