Monstrous Spider!!!

People with arachnophobia click away now - okay, that means me... Here's what's been happening in my home town this weekend.

I think when they're so huge my arachnophobia is no longer an issue. Tiny and creepy, now that's scary! ; )

Can you imagine the Bride telling her grandchildren..."I almost didn't make it in time to marry your grandpa. You see, there was this GIANT spider that was holding up traffic." grin...

Natalie - I am so proud of myself. I didn't cringe, even when I saw it hanging off the side of a building at 7:00 a.m.

Nasty...here in Las Vegas we have a little scorpion problem, although not quite as large (unable to, say, pick up my car like a Hot Wheels toy).

Scale makes such a difference to our perception. A massive, slow-moving spider is almost cute! (But not easy to zap with the hoover.)
