If only they were Pirates...

Look at the view from my office. Not bad, eh? The HMS Ark Royal Battleship was in Liverpool today and as the Liner Terminal is directly outside my place of work I had to take a few hundred photographs. Sometimes I think we're really, really lucky that our office has such a great view, but then I get my hourly injection and realise no we are not as it is very, very windy and such a trek to get to.

(*Hint - if you click on the photo's they open in a new screen and look all lovely and big.)

Ah, one of the downsides of working from home: no spectacular view. Unless Ying happens to walk by my office naked.

ESPECIALLY when the water's brown. I worked on the Western Rivers here in the U.S. Always muddy, always big, always traditional. We were big, rough and tumble guys who loved our work.

What a beautiful ship. I am former U.S. Navy. Ships will always hold a special place in my heart.
