Ghosts in the Machine Anthology Market

I thought the below may be of interest to many of you.

Phoenix Imprints Presents are looking for submissions for their anthology Ghosts in the Machine. The theme - I love writing stories for themed anthologies - is supernatural stories as relates to technology, in particular the internet and computers, but other areas of technology will be considered. Stories should be between 1,000 to 7,000 words, and they pay $20 per accepted story.

Another one to add to my to do list... Good luck.

I'm working on something for this; it is a very interesting anthology.

I ended up getting freemind and plotting mind maps and everything!

*chuckles*

I stumbled here...somehow.

Love your banner.

I hope you're enjoying Desolate Places.

Thanks for commenting Camille, and yes I am enjoying DP.

Begin Transmission... Those two words set up both the anthology and the story very well. Loved the snow angels, loved the butterflies, loved how the story is laid out as letters, loved the ending. Kudos.

And what a gorgeous book - it should matter, but it does. :)

Just saw that you made the TOC for HELP (P&E antho). Congrats! I'm proud to have a story in the same pages as you.

I wasn't going to do anything for this. I was going to spend a couple weeks sitting back, concentrating on the job hunt, finishing up some papers so I can finally bag that elusive degree.

Then a story I had been working on took a turn towards a doll-crazy widow with zero social skills and a demon that has gained access to the internet.

Now I'm writing again.

Dang you and your market posts! Keep them up!

WOW! JC that sounds like fantastic. I've got a hint of an idea for my entry but nothing solid yet.
