Lost Plots

Someone has just eaten a toe and now I want to vomit... I'm nearing the end of the first draft of The Poisoned Apple and there are zombies everywhere. I'm thinking it might be a bit gross for kids, but then the kids I know are quite fond of gross so who knows... I should finish it this week and then I can start forming ideas for my title-less NaNo project.

I've added another possible title to my NaNo list, 'Red Tulips', why I don't know as I can't imagine there will be any tulips, red or otherwise, in it. I'd say I'm losing the plot, but quite frankly, I don't have one...

I never really thought about kids being horror fans. I suppose you could rate it for the kids and their parents, like a grossness scale so they could decide if they'd want to read it or wait 'til they're a little older!! I for one still have not grown into the next level of "grossness" - I pretty much avoid 'R' rated movies and I'm well into my 20's.

Good luck with nanowrimo - I wonder what you'll come up with at the last minute!!

I loved gross when I was a kid. I say go all out; kids should love it.

Cate - Not sure how you got all the zombie fans in your network, but I'm amazed.

It gives me hope for my little 'Goodhalo' book and make me even more excited to edit it next month!
