The End of the Apple

I have just typed the fabulous words 'THE END' at well, the end, of the first draft of The Poisoned Apple.

Woo Hoo!

It's a little shorter than I hoped, but also a little longer than the first draft of Lucy Baxter & The Evil Emporium so that's cool. I'm still figuring 25,000 words all in by the time the third draft is completed. And the first line of the book and the last line tie in beautifully which I am stoked about.

Off to print it out now and then I'll hide it in a drawer until the end of NaNo when I'll take it out and attack it with a red pen.

Hey! You left a comment on my NaNo LJ and I've just found the time to reply. This is quimtessence, by the way.

You're the third person I personally know who's doing NaNo this year. I'd excited about how it's going to be like competing in word count with others in my first ever NaNo.

Can't wait to start writing. I hope we can keep in touch for moral support, word sprints, and the knowledge that someone else is struggling through the bottomless pit of novel-writing and crawling their way out just as you.

Cheers, Luciana.

Congratulations! Those are very exciting words for an author, 'The End'!

Perfect timing for Nano, too.

Congratulations on finishing! And if it's too short, you can always add words in the revision :)
