The Shirley Jackson Awards

You too can type like Neil Gaiman... Well, sort of. You can win his keyboard in the Shirley Jackson Awards lottery. Along with many other wonderful things (including a 'Sybil's Garage subscription', critiques by Don D'Auria, Sarah Langan. Ekaterina Sedia etc, Books signed by Jack Ketchum, David Drake, Elizabeth Bear, Douglas Clegg etc). It costs just $1 a ticket.

More information can be found here.

Why am I telling you this? ::Shakes Head:: Now the keyboard will never be mine.

Ooooo...a lottery. I hope I don't receive the black dot!

Congrats on the NT story, Cate. You deserve it. ;)

Whereas, I hope you don't receive the keyboard. And people tell me, I'm not evil. :: throws back head and laughs like the wicked imp she is ::

Good luck with it. I won't be signing up for that part of the lottery so you still have a shot.

Neat, I love contests!

Jamie, I believe my shot is called a long one. :)

Good luck, Natalie.

I'm going for the "more than a tuckerization" from Mamatas.

It'll make up for never getting that uber-nasty rejection letter I wanted so bad. ;)

Oh...don't so much care about the keyboard - so you can have my spot. But I love Neil Gaiman's Coraline and am reading American Gods. The Graveyard Book is waiting.

Jodi, I'm too much of a coward to go near Mamatas. Hope you win it.

Jeremy, I've just found out Justin Pilon is in the issue as well. Going to be a fab first print issue.

Kim, I haven't read 'American Gods' yet, but can highly recommend 'The Graveyard Book'.

I may have bought more than one ticket.

A lottery you say hmmmm? I may buy me a ticket. Doubt I'll win. I never do. But why not?
