Wordle

I'm up far too early for a Saturday thanks to arguing neighbours and the sirens of police cars (oh and yes I'd love to know what's going on - damn double glazing muffles everything). Anyhow, due to the early hour, I have ascertained I have a legal right to procrastinate by trawling the internet, visiting blogs and not getting a single word completed on 'Matchsticks' or the story I am working on for the Permuted Press anthology: 'The World is Dead'.

Via Goodscares, the blog of C. Michael Cook, I found Wordle where you can create your own word art. Here's what I've been up to: You will need to click on them to see them in all their glory.

And this... Recognise anyone????

And of course...

When it should be..

And here's to my favourite movies:

Great fun and an excuse to procrastinate.

Hi Cate --

Don't we have a lot in common. I woke up early this morning too. Usually to the sound of sirens, but today it was thunder, which was a nice change. I'm working on a story for "The World is Dead" as well (and not getting much done on it). And you've got a great site, too.

Thanks for the comment.

Oooh, you immortalised me in procrastination Word Art. That's just too cool.

And you've reminded me that I should try to put something together for The World is Dead. I had forgotten about that one. Thankee kindly. :)

You are absolutely the most creative, entertaining and productive procrastinator I know.

I've got about half of my "world is Dead" submission finished, thanks to that dream about the hooker I had a while back.

Woke up early...and went to work to catch up on a few things. Not doing any writing till tonight...yard work, and as a member of the neighborhood association I'm going to a little street fest this evening...so...yeah. I'll be up late writing.

Plus...I always knew I would be considered art one day!

I'm hoping you are all have as idle a day as I am...

Praise indeed.

I'll have to second Felicity's "oooh".

Procrastination is an art form all by itself, and you are a master.

What a way to wake up! I'd be wondering what happened, too. (Our neighbors have no idea what stories we create for them in the absence of facts.)

LOL! When I found out the truth of what was going on it was very, very boring.
