Not so Grim up north...

The Grim Reaper is knock, knock, knocking at my keyboard...

I'm redrafting THE MIDNIGHT MOTEL and feeling the pressure as the book has been out with the publisher, Graveside Tales, since July and if by luck, chance, god willing etc etc etc they ask to see beyond the first three chapters, then I need the beast ready to go. I can't believe I'm having to retype everything, that all the disks I saved my work on are, to put it bluntly, pants... I wasted over an hour's editing time last night trying (again) to get them to upload, looking for help on the internet & via my new computer's none-to-helpful help section, but to no avail. Damn, blast, etc...

Anyhow, here's how the book starts:

Tobias Tribute sleeps with the light on. It is not that he is afraid of the dark, more that the dark is afraid of him...

Keep an eye on the word count to the right.

Dying.
