An Acronym Too Many...

It's beginning to look as if I've signed up for NaBloPoMo (or something like that - National Blog Posting Month, I think) as this is my third posting in as many days as this month has seen. I'm starting today's blog at 14:20 pm, because I just typed a few words over that massive, all-essential 1,667 word count in my NaNoWriMo project. Woo-hoo!

It's turning out to be a good weekend. A very good weekend. I've just been voted 'Scariest Member of 2007' on the Writers' Dock website Horror Forum (okay - there were only about 11 votes in the entire poll but hey, I still WON!!!) and my nephew Joe is today spending the afternoon watching an Everton football match from the VIP box and meeting all the players as his friend won two tickets in a competition.

Okay, I've decided I'm suffering from a case of Obsessive Word Count Disorder - I'm now at the 2,000 word marker for the day. Plus, I've just written a line that I really like despite the internal editor having been kicked out of the room:

"...Or that an old folks home had a break-out and we were all gassed by them as they farted down the High Street." A suggestion by a Mr. Jack Orwell (yep, my hero) of how the government will explain away the apocalyptic events. Okay it's not perfect but it has hope...

Okay it's 15:52 and I've just hit 3,000 words for the day.

Three days down and with 3,507 words added today I am now 9,120 words in...
