Pre-Post Blues
Less than a week to go until NaNoWriMo starts. I have my title now - see the lovely word meter to the right -'Fractured Wings' - and though I don't have a plot as such - a y did this and x did that and y and x climbed over... I do have, on top of my basic apocalyptic theme, a good idea of a substantial theme running through it (it's something to do with the colour red and the horsemen - it's all very hush hush you know). I also have my characters in place and I know a little about them. First off the starting block is a Miss Rowan Drummond...

That's a solid title, you can't lose :) I'm suffering from some serious Nano title-envy all around.
And now I gotta figure out how to get a word meter on my site..

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I know-- less than a week! Wow! I have my story ideas together. In addition tot he normal pressure involving NaNo -- this is my first attempt to write a novel! :)

Hey, good luck to you, too! I know that 60K is a pretty ambitious notion, particularly as I could be teaching 8-12 hours/ day for much of the month, but it honestly doesn't sound any scarier than 50K to me, and it makes me think that if the bar is kept that high I might surprise myself! I was going to have a theme, but can't think of a cool one.
